​​​​​​​Community Council Elections – Postal ballots issued

A postal ballot is now underway for elections to sixteen contested community councils across Highland and ballot papers will start arriving through letterboxes from today, (Monday 18 November).

The contested community councils are:

Ardgour ; Ardross; Aultbea; Dornoch; Ferintosh; Glenelg and Arnisdale; Golspie; Kilmorack; Kinlochleven; Nairn River; Plockton; Strathdearn; Stratherrick and Foyers; Thurso; Watten; West Ardnamurchan.

A list of the candidates standing or each of these Community Councils can be found online at the community council elections section of the Council’s website: www.highland.gov.uk/elections

The deadline for returning postal ballots is 12noon on Wednesday, 4 December 2019.
