Hogmanay temporary closure of Infirmary Bridge, Inverness

The Highland Council is advising people that the Infirmary Bridge will be closed for Hogmanay.

People attending the Inverness Red Hot Highland Fling event are being advised that the Infirmary Bridge (footbridge) on the River Ness will be closed to all from 11:30pm on Tuesday 31st December to 1am Wednesday 1st January in the interest of public safety.

Throughout the evening access to the bridge will be monitored by staff from SecuriGroup in conjunction with Police Scotland and the Event Management Team to prevent a build-up of pedestrians.
