Postponement of Highland Council's Resources Committee

The Council’s Resources Committee has had to be postponed due to network issues affecting council offices and home connections across Highland.

Flooding at a telephone exchange in Edinburgh has caused network and internet issues at hundreds of sites across Scotland.

Chair of Resources Committee Alister Mackinnon said: “I’m sorry we have had to cancel the committee meeting for today. The network issues across Scotland, beyond our control, have caused serious network problems for us since last night. I have this morning been in touch with committee members and the meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.”
