Highland Council Ward Managers appointed

The Highland Council has appointed two more Ward Managers for Ward 1 North West and Central Sutherland and Wards 18 Culloden and Ardersier and 20 Inverness South.

Charles Stephen is Ward Manager for Culloden and Ardersier and Inverness South. Currently working with the Council’s Education, Culture and Sport Service as Integration Manager, Charles has a strong background in working with communities. Charles will be taking up his new post on 20th August when he joins the current team of three Ward Managers serving the seven Inverness City Wards.

Andy MacKay has been appointed to the North West and Central Sutherland Ward Manager post. Andy is currently Highland Council’s Area Community Learning and Leisure Manger for the Skye and Lochalsh area within the Education, Culture and Sport Service. Andy has significant experience in community engagement and capacity building. No date has been set yet for Andy to start in his new position.
 
No appointment was made for Ward 11 Eilean a' Cheò  (Isle of Skye). That post will be re-advertised shortly.
