Update: Road closures: A835 and A832 due to drifting snow

• A835 Road will close around 5pm overnight (13 February 2021) until it is safe to reopen.
• Highland Council road operatives will return to clearing the road on Sunday 14 February.

 After a day trying to keep the road safe Council roads staff are planning to close the A835 North of Ullapool between Drumrunie Junction and Ledmore Junction due to drifting snow. 

It is anticipated that the closure will take effect around 5pm and will remain in place overnight and until the road is safe to reopen.

The A832 (The Fain) is also closed at the Dundonnell to Braemore Junction due to drifting snow.

Snow clearing will resume on Sunday 14 Feb and roads will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so.

Police have been advised of the closures.
