Temporary road diversions in Tain

To allow BEAR Scotland to safely carry out surfacing works on the A9 Inverness - Scabster Trunk Road, there will be temporary restrictions for all motorists on various roads in Tain.

The following temporary right turn manoeuvre and left turn manoeuvre prohibitions will come into force from 19:00 on Monday 1 March 2021 and will remain in place until 7:00 on Friday 26 March 2021.

A9 Inverness - Scrabster Trunk Road               Right turn into the U1889 Rosemount Road, Tain.

A9 Inverness - Scrabster Trunk Road               Right turn into the U1399 Hunting Hill Road, Tain.
A9 Inverness - Scrabster Trunk Road               Left turn into the U1399 Hunting Hill Road, Tain.

During this time, access will be maintained for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles employed to carry out the works.

For all other road users, a signed diversion will be in place for alternative routes.
