Temporary road closure – Bught Lane, Inverness

Motorists are being advised by The Highland Council that there will be a temporary road closure on the U4690 Bught Lane, Inverness, closed to westbound traffic, commencing at its junction with the U3821 Bught Avenue and extending for a distance of around 248 metres to a roundabout.

The closure will be in operation from 7.00 on Wednesday 26 May 2021 until 18:00 on Thursday 27 May 2021 and is required in the interests of public safety during works associated with the River Ness Hydro scheme.

Access will be maintained for Emergency vehicles, pedestrians and vehicles requiring access, but only then at the discretion and by instruction of the contractor for the works.

Access for eastbound traffic will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes will be available for any other vehicles affected by this closure.
