Temporary road closure on Union Road, Inverness

Motorists are being advised by The Highland Council that there will be a temporary road closure on Union Road, Inverness from its junction with the C1193 Kingsmills Road to its junction with the U4136 Midmills Road.

The closure will be in operation from 9:30 on Tuesday 29 June 2021 until 18:00 on Wednesday 30 June 2021.

The closure is required to enable a contractor, working on behalf of ‘Cityfibre’, to carry out remedial works.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency vehicles attending an emergency. Other vehicles requiring access may do so, but only at the discretion and by the instructions of the Contractor for the works.

The closures will be implemented when appropriate signs and barriers are in place, and local residents will be notified by the contractor.

Alternative routes will be available for all other vehicles.
