Highland Council announces extension to Brown Bin permit renewal date

Highland Council has today announced it is extending the renewal period for Brown Bin permits until Friday 6 August 2021.

The local authority has experienced ICT issues over the past few days, some of which affected online forms.

Highland Council understands that this prevented some customers from renewing their Brown Bins online over the weekend and a decision was taken today to extend the deadline from 2 August to 6 August 2021.

Customers who have not yet been able to renew their permits now have until Friday (6 August) to ensure delivery in time for the first collections of the new service year (1st Sept 2021).
