Nairnshire welcomes the return of the popular Funfair

A much-loved annual event will make a return to Nairn next week when the Funfair comes to Nairn Links, for the period between 9 and 21 August 2021.

In recognition and noting that the Nairn Highland Games, which normally accompanies the Funfair has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the fee has been waived for this year only.

Cllr Tom Heggie, Chair of the Nairnshire Area Committee commented: "We welcome the Funfair back to Nairn especially at a time when communities are facing the challenge of rebuilding as we progress through the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We hope that everyone, especially the young, take the opportunity to visit the Funfair whilst complying with all COVID-19 precautionary measures that will be in place."
