Bha Sgioba Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd fìor thoilichte prògram farsaing chleasan a thabhann tron Ghàidhlig airson iomairt Samhradh an Dòchais.

Bha cothrom aig daoine òga air cleasan cruthachail, spòrsail is an-asgaidh thairis air còig seachdainean tro shaor-làithean an t-samhraidh. Dh’obraich Sgioba Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd le buidhnean Gàidhlig, cultair is spòrs a leithid Fèis na h-Òige, Comunn na Gàidhlig, Spòrs Gàidhlig agus Fèisean nan Gàidheal airson cuideachadh le bhith a’ lìbhrigeadh a’ phrògraim.

Thòisich am prògram còig-seachdainean le Fèis Bheag a chaidh a chumail ann am Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis – a’ chiad tachartas le Fèis na h-Òige a chaidh a chumail aghaidh ri aghaidh ann an cha mhòr dà bhliadhna – agus a bha a’ gabhail a-steach ealain is obair-chiùird, ceòl, karate agus camanachd.

Bha na cleasan tron Ghàidhlig air an tabhann do sgoilearan ann an grunn sgoiltean taobh a-staigh sgìre Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd, a’ gabhail a-steach Ullapul, Baile Dhubhthaich, Inbhir Theòrsa, Farr agus Inbhir Pheofharain. Bha bòrdadh-pleadhaige, sgilean fàsaich, abseileadh is sreap am measg nan cleasan a lìbhrig Spòrs Gàidhlig. Bha na bùithtean-obrach eile ag amas air ceòl is dràma, geamannan agus ealain is obair-chiùird. Thill am prògram gu Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis le Fèis Bheag eile airson na seachdain mu dheireadh agus airson cleasan an t-samhraidh a thoirt gu crìch.

Thuirt an Comhairliche Calum Rothach, Cathraiche Comataidh Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd, “’S e deagh naidheachd a th’ ann gu bheil cleasan tron Ghàidhlig taobh a-muigh na sgoile air tilleadh agus gun robh cothrom aig daoine òga coinneachadh rin caraidean air a’ bhlàr a-muigh.” Lean e air adhart, “Tha seo air cur gu mòr rin sunnd is rin slàinte inntinn is chorporra às dèidh bliadhna dhùbhlanach fo bhuaidh COVID-19. Tha e math gun robh na cleasan air an dealbh gu sònraichte airson cothrom a thoirt do na daoine òga iad fhèin a bhogadh sa Ghàidhlig tro na saor-làithean”.

Thuirt Kirsteen Russell, pàrant a tha ag obair gu saor-thoileach airson Fèis na h-Òige, “Bha e sgoinneil cothrom fhaighinn Fèis dà-sheachdain a ruith às dèidh ùine cho mòr. Tha iomairt Samhradh an Dòchais a tha air a ruith ann an co-bhann le Sgioba Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd is air a maoineachadh le Youth Link Scotland air a bhith soirbheachail dha-rìribh agus tha e furasta fhaicinn gun do chòrd seo glan ris a’ chloinn.” Lean i air adhart, “Seach gu bheil nas lugha bhacaidhean ann a-nis, tha sinn an dòchas gun urrainn dhuinn tilleadh gu bhith a’ ruith nan clasaichean seachdaineach is mìosail againn agus tha sinn a’ coimhead air adhart ri tuilleadh thachartasan sna mìosan romhainn.”

Fhuair am pròiseact taic bho Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd, Bòrd na Gàidhlig agus Youth Link Scotland.
