Rangers wonderful wildflower walk.

Highland Council’s Countryside Rangers have organised a guided walk to explore the wealth of wildflowers along a section of the Spey.
 
Suitable for well shod (wellies are recommended) and prepared adults, the walk takes place on Thursday 21st June, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.  Meeting at the Wildcat Centre on the Main Street in Newtonmore, the walk will explore a section of the Wildcat Trail between the golf course and the River.
 
Countryside Ranger Duncan Macdonald said: “This section of the Spey has an incredible variety of wildflowers to admire and none more so than the wealth of Orchids to be found.
 
“Orchids are some of our most attractive, rare and sought after wildflowers in Scotland, but they also have an air of mystery about them which makes them even more pleasing to find!”
