Tain's New Junior Golf Facility

The new junior facility at Tain Golf Club was officially opened recently by Melvyn Morrow the great, great grandson of Old Tom Morris.  Tain Golf Club with an award from the Big Lottery and Sportsmatch funding has created a 6 hole putting green, triple practice nets; and a 10 metre artificial chipping mat with a green and practice bunkers.  The facility will help PGA Level 1 coach Mike Sangster and his helpers to deliver clubgolf coaching to the increasing number of pupils coming from the primary school firstclubgolf programme in the Tain cluster area.
