Caol & Lochyside Flood Prevention Scheme - Traffic management update
Works for the Caol and Lochyside Flood Prevention Scheme in Lochaber are continuing to progress well with the installation of drainage and a new watermain along Kilmallie Road in Caol.
The next phase of this operation will see the temporary traffic lights relocated further along Kilmallie Road, across the Riverside Park junction.
The contractor, RJ McLeod (Contractors) Ltd anticipate to be able to move onto this next phase from Monday 15 November.
These works, further along Kilmallie Road, will require the use of a 3-way set of temporary lights so drivers should be aware and should allow for extra time to make their journeys.
A spokesman for The Highland Council said: “We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and understanding as these works progress.”
