Highland schools ‘Get Energised to Save Electricity with Energy Sparks!’
Highland Council is continuing to work with sustainability charity, Energy Sparks to offer Highland schools access to Energy Sparks' online energy analysis tool and energy education programme.
Energy Sparks supports primary and secondary pupils, staff and the wider school community to reduce their school’s carbon emissions and make a real contribution to addressing the climate emergency.
Monday 17 January 2022 marks the start of Energy Saving Week and we'd love Highland schools to engage with ‘Get Energised to save electricity with Energy Sparks’ campaign.
We have collaborated with Green Impact to put together ten activities which will help you get to grips with basis data analysis and behavioural change and take the first steps to lowering your carbon footprint. You can find the activities on the attached document.
We have put together a short video (above) which gives you more information about Energy Sparks and the ‘Get Energised to save electricity with Energy Sparks’ campaign.
Join the 14 schools already signed up and saving electricity.
