Strategic Tourism Infrastructure Development Plan for Highland

A new Strategic Tourism Infrastructure Development Plan (STIDP) aimed to improve tourism infrastructure and the visitors experience across Highland, will be presented to Members of The Highland Council’s Tourism Committee on Wednesday 16 February 2022.

The draft STIDP has been submitted by the Highland Council to Visit Scotland and if approved, aims to open the opportunity for the Council, partners or communities to apply for funding to begin the planning process for improved infrastructure at eight identified hotspot areas.
