Flood-Affected Dingwall Road Reopens

The Mitchell Hill cemetery access road in Dingwall, which has been closed since 26 October, last year due to a landslip, will reopen to vehicles and pedestrians from tomorrow (Thursday 8 March). There is still some more landscaping, drainage and guardrail works to be done but the roads have been completed to a standard whereby the road can be reopened and normal safe access taken.

The temporary bus service for cemetery visits will no longer operate as a result.

The Highland Council would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding during the repair works.

The estimated cost of the works is £250,000.
