Temporary City Road Closures

There will be temporary traffic control on Old Perth Road, Inverness, between Millburn Roundabout and Culcabock Roundabout this week to allow tree works to take place.

Two way traffic flow will be maintained with the use of stop/go boards. In order to minimise disruption to peak time traffic, temporary traffic control will only come into effect at 09:30hrs each morning and will remain in operation until 16:30hrs.

The works began yesterday (Monday 12 March) and will last until Friday 16 March 2007.

Elsewhere in the city improvements began yesterday on the B9006 approach to Inshes Roundabout, Inverness with works expected to last for up to 3 weeks. Two-way traffic flow is being maintained but there is a reduction in the amount of stacking space available for vehicular traffic on the approach to Inshes Roundabout so this may result in some delays for traffic, particularly at peak times.
