Dràma Gàidhlig sgoinneil ann an Inbhir Narann
Chuir Sgioba Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd bùth-obrach dràma Gàidhlig samhraidh air dòigh thairis air trì làithean do sgoilearan Gàidhlig Bun-Sgoil Bruach na Muilne ann an Inbhir Narann.
Bha na seiseanan, a chaidh a chumail aig Ionad Coimhearsnachd agus Ealain Inbhir Narann, air an stiùireadh leis a’ chleasaiche ainmeil Daibhidh Walker a tha air a bhith ann an grunn phrògraman telebhisein Gàidhlig a leithid ‘Machair’ agus ‘Ran Dan’, a bharrachd air a bhith an lùib ‘The Comedy Unit’ agus ‘Outlander.’
Thuirt an Comhairliche Calum Rothach, Cathraiche Comataidh Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd: “Tha dràma cudromach do dhaoine òga a tha ag ionnsachadh na Gàidhlig seach gu bheil e a’ brosnachadh cleachdadh cànain agus a’ toirt dòigh dhaibh air com-pàirt a ghabhail anns na h-ealain fhaireachail. Tha tòrr spòrs is fealla-dhà na lùib cuideachd.”
Ghabh na daoine òga pàirt ann an diofar gheamannan is ghnìomhan far an robh iad a’ cleasachd is a’ cruthachadh charactaran agus rinn iad film goirid cuideachd.
Bha fealla-dhà gu leòr aig a h-uile duine agus thàinig corra rionnag am bàrr fhad ’s a bha an t-seachdain a’ dol air adhart!
Bha an tachartas na phàirt de phrògram samhraidh a bha air a chur air dòigh le Sgioba Gàidhlig na Comhairle.

The Highland Council Gaelic Team organised a three-day Summer Gaelic Drama Workshop which took place in Nairn.
Well known actor Daibhidh Walker, who stared in various Gaelic Television Programmes including the Gaelic Drama ‘Machair’, ‘Ran Dan’, the Comedy Unit and ‘Outlander’, led the sessions for pupils from Millbank Gaelic Medium provision at the Nairn Community and Arts Centre.
Councillor Calum Munro, Chair of the Highland Council’s Gaelic Committee said, “Drama is important for young people who are learning Gaelic as it encourages language usage, and also provides a platform for young people to engage with the expressive arts whilst also generating a fun experience for the participants.”
The young people were involved in a range of acting games and character creation activities before staging and creating a short film.
Fun and games were had by all with a couple of young stars evolving as the week went on!
