Queensgate entrance to Victorian Market temporarily closed

Following problems affecting the drainage within the Queensgate Arcade of the Victorian Market, The Highland Council and Scottish Water are working together with property owners to support further investigation, confirm responsibility and enable the situation to be resolved. 

Work took place last night and further work is planned to take place this evening in order to minimise impact on businesses as far as possible. The Queensgate entrance to the market remains temporarily closed.

Other entrances to the Victorian Market are unaffected and businesses are operating as normal. Customers are encouraged to support local businesses while following any signage in place.
