Replacement Postal Votes Reminder

The Returning Officer for the Highlands, Arthur McCourt,  has today (Wednesday) reminded postal voters, who have not yet received their ballot papers or have lost their papers,  that they can apply for a replacement postal vote up until 5 pm tomorrow (Thursday) - the day of the election.

Voters seeking a replacement postal vote require to provide proof of identification when visiting one of the following Council offices: -

Votes should be returned to any polling station in the Highlands up until close of poll at 10 pm tomorrow.

A total of 17,635 people in the Highlands have applied to vote by post and all postal packs have now been issued.
