Public meeting on proposed closure of Struan Primary School
The Highland Council is inviting parents, children and members of the public to attend a meeting next week to discuss the proposal to formally close Struan Primary School in Skye, which has been mothballed since April 2022.
The Council is proposing to discontinue the provision of education at Struan Primary, and to reallocate its catchment area to that of Dunvegan Primary School.
The meeting will be held at Struan Primary School at 6.30pm on Monday 20 March 2023 and everyone in the community is welcome to come along and give their views.
Anyone unable to attend can still take part in the consultation by visiting the Council’s website. The Proposal Paper and associated documents are available at www.highland.gov.uk/schoolconsultations.
The consultation will run until Friday 21 April 2023.
