Locals invited to ‘Meet up and Clean up’

Inverness West Ward Members Councillors Bill Boyd, Alex Graham and Ryan MacKintosh are inviting local people to join them on a ‘Meet up and Clean-up’ community litter picking event.

The clean-up will take place from Monday 22 to Thursday 25 May 2023.

Each evening people of all ages are invited to volunteer and come together to make sure their local area is looking tidy.

By taking small actions and joining together we can all make a difference to our local communities.

Each litter pick will last for 2 hours from 6pm – 8pm and litter picking kits (waste bags, litter pickers, gloves) will be supplied.

Join in the clean-up on the following dates at each location from 6 – 8pm:

Monday 22 May  – meeting at Charleston Academy.

Tuesday 23 May – meeting at Muirtown Primary.

Wednesday 24 May – meeting at the Bught Stop, Torvean Avenue.

Thursday 25 May – meeting at The Highland Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road.
