Highland Road Conditions Report - 10.10.23
Highland Council Roads Operatives are continuing to deal with the aftermath of several landslips and flooding incidents which have affected roads in Highland.
The following roads have been or continue to be affected by the weather:
Lochaber:
- The B8007 Kilchoan Road at Ardslignish remains closed with a time period amnesty to allow a contractor to import rock armour to stabilise the road edge to road level before operatives are able to rebuild the passing place, renew a large culvert and reinstate the road surface.
- The below traffic management timetable has been produced for the B8007 during repair works.

2pm - 4pm 4pm - 9am (Open Overnight)

Inverness:
- The B851 at Flichity near Inverness is now open.
Badenoch and Strathspey:
- B9152 - Aviemore to Kincraig opened at 8.30 am. Surface water still present in localised spots but passable.
- The B970 Ski Road at Aviemore is now open.
- The C1132 Loch Insh to Kincraig is now open.
- B9152 from Kingussie to Aviemore has now reopened.
- The B970 Boat of Garten to Coylumbridge road is passable with care.
- B970 between Boat of Garten and Nethy Bridge remains closed.
- The C1139 between Broomhill Station and Nethy Bridge has now reopened
