Badenoch and Strathspey roads open

All Highland Council roads in Badenoch and Strathspey that were closed due to flooding are reopened including the B970 Ski Road at Aviemore which is now open.

Localised spots of surface water continue to be present but the Council is not aware of any major issues.

Roads operatives are continuing today digging drainage ‘offlets’ and sweeping up debris caused by the flooding.
