Duncraig Educational Trust Scheme

Applications are invited for secondary and tertiary students from the Highland area who will attend a university or college to receive a bursary payment to help with costs of their specialist course or sporting event. 

There are two categories of award with different age groups being eligible to apply for each category:

1. Sports grants are available for 14 to 25 year olds who have been selected to participate in sporting events at national or international level and, or who require specialist sports coaching, training or equipment to compete at national or international level.
2. Grants for 16 to 25 year olds undertaking specialist courses of study in arts, language and heritage, science and environment and or to purchase specialist equipment for such courses.

Applications are made on a one-off basis, if you have previously received a grant from this scheme and still meet the requirements then you are welcome to apply again. 

This interim funding will be available from 1 September 2023 until 30 December 2023.
