Highland Road Conditions Report – Friday 26 January 2024
The information provided is a summary of reports from operational staff and is intended to give a general indication of typical conditions in each area at a point in time. It is not intended to imply that any individual route is entirely snow and ice free and drivers must be aware that conditions can change rapidly and make their own assessment of conditions for travelling.

Highland Road Conditions Report for Friday 26 January 2024 are as follows:
Inverness
09:29 - Low road surface temperatures this morning with damp roads, temperatures rising quickly now, covering all high roads. No known issues.
Sutherland
09:32 - A slight frost with wintry showers giving a very slight cover of snow in places. Primary and Secondary routes being treated as per policy.
Wester Ross
08:30 – Road surface temperatures well above zero, wet roads and no overnight issues.
Ross & Cromarty East
08:12 – Road surface temperatures marginal at lower ground with the expected dip at daylight. Higher ground road surface temperatures below zero with frost and sparkle. All primary and secondary routes wet with standing water in places, all checked and treated. No outstanding overnight issues.
