Service Point and Registration Office closures for staff training.
Eleven Service Points and Inverness Registration Office will be closed on the morning of Thursday 29 February between 9am - 12.30pm.
The morning closures will be at Alness, Dingwall, Dornoch, Fort William, Golspie, Kyle, Nairn, Portree, Tain, Thurso and Wick Service Points.
Also Inverness Registration Office based at the Archive Centre, Inverness will be closed to registration customers.
Dingwall, Thurso and Wick Service Points will open in the afternoon as usual at the following times:
- Dingwall (open 1.30 – 4pm)
- Wick (open 1.30 – 4pm)
- Thurso (open 1.30 – 4.30pm).
Inverness Registration office will be open in the afternoon 1.30 – 4.30pm.
Inverness Service Point, based at the Town House, Inverness, will remain open to the public all day.
The offices are being closed to enable staff to join Registration colleagues from all 32 Local Authorities across Scotland in attending a National Registration training event hosted by the Association of Registrars of Scotland.
The event is being held online to recognise and celebrate the role of Scottish Registrars and the valuable work they undertake in communities recording Scotland’s life events registering births, deaths and marriages.
