Thathar a’ toirt cuireadh do phàrantan aig a bheil ùidh ann a bhith a’ leasachadh dà-chànanas an cuid chloinne tron Ghàidhlig gu tachartas fiosrachaidh teaghlaich air Dimàirt 12 Màrt aig Bun-Sgoil Chille Mhoire bho 10m gu 11:45m.
Tha Sgioba Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd, ann an com-pàirteachas le Bun-Sgoil Chille Mhoire, a’ stèidheachadh buidheann pàrant is pàiste Gàidhlig 0-3 le taic ionmhasail bho Bhòrd na Gàidhlig.
Tha fàilte air a h-uile duine agus gheibhear tuilleadh fiosrachaidh le cupa teatha agus còmhradh fhad ’s a bhios a’ chlann a’ gabhail pàirt ann an cluiche bog, geamaichean, cluiche mothachail, agus ceòl is òrain. Thèid fiosrachadh agus taic a thoirt seachad dhaibhsan le ùidh ann a bhith a’ leasachadh dà-chànanas an cuid chloinne tron Ghàidhlig.
Bidh cothrom aig pàrantan is luchd-cùraim bruidhinn ri luchd-obrach na Comhairle mu Fhoghlam tron Ghàidhlig agus bidh tòrr chleasan spòrsail ann dhan chloinn.
Thuirt An Comhairliche Calum Rothach, Cathraiche Chomataidh na Gàidhlig: “Tha an tachartas seo aig Bun-Sgoil Chille Mhoire a’ toirt cothrom air leth do phàrantan is do theaghlaichean tuilleadh fiosrachaidh fhaighinn mu na buannachdan a tha an lùib dà-chànanais. Bidh fiosrachadh ann dha na pàrantan agus bidh spòrs ann dhan chloinn cuideachd.
“Bu toil leam taing a thoirt do Bhòrd na Gàidhlig airson taic a chur ris an tachartas seo san Eilean Sgitheanach, a tha am measg nam prìomh sgìrean Gàidhlig sa Ghàidhealtachd.”
Thuirt Chrisma NicPhàrlain, Ceannard Bun-Sgoil Chille Mhoire: “Tha sinn a’ coimhead air adhart gu mòr ri bhith a’ cur fàilte air teaghlaichean chun an tachartais seo a bheir cothrom do phàrantan is do luchd-cùraim tuilleadh fiosrachaidh fhaighinn mu Fhoghlam Gàidhlig sna Tràth-bhliadhnaichean agus an taic a tha ri fhaotainn dhaibh.”

Fun and informative Gaelic parent and child event on Skye
Parents interested in their children developing bilingualism through Gaelic are invited to a family information event on Tuesday 12 March at Kilmuir Primary School from 10am to 11:45am.
The Highland Council’s Gaelic Team in partnership with Kilmuir Primary school are establishing a 0-3 Gaelic parent and child group with financial support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
All are welcome to come and find out more with a cup of tea and a chat while their children can take part in soft play, games, sensory play, and music and songs. Information and support will be provided for those who might be interested in their children developing bilingualism through Gaelic.
Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to speak to staff from the Council regarding Gaelic Medium Education, there will also be lots of fun activities for the children.
Cllr Calum Munro, Chair of the Gaelic Committee said: “This event at Kilmuir Primary is an excellent opportunity for parents and families to explore the benefits of being bilingual. It will not only be informative for the adults but also fun for the children.
“I would like to thank Bòrd na Gàidhlig for the support they are providing to make this event happen on Skye which is one of the Gaelic heartlands of the Highlands.”
Chrisma MacFarlane, Kilmuir Primary Head Teacher added: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming families to the event which will provide parents and guardians with the opportunity to acquire further information on Early Years Gaelic Education and the support available to them.”
