Communities and Place staff congratulated on completion of Leadership Development Programme
Staff from the Communities and Place Service have been recognised in successfully completing an intensive Leadership Development Programme.
As part of the Service’s commitment to continually identify talent, and develop leaders for the future, a Leadership Development Programme was designed for the Communities and Place Service and delivered by BlueSky Experiences.
The programme covered a range of leadership skills including Personal Effectiveness, Leading Effective Teams and delivering Change, and Performance Management.
Councillor Graham MacKenzie, Chair of Communities and Place Committee said: “Staff have demonstrated a real commitment to their learning and development. I would like to congratulate them on their success, and I was delighted to present them with their certificates along with BlueSky Experiences. I was interested to hear their reflections of their learning. Staff feedback was very positive on the quality and effectiveness of the course and would like to thank all involved for making this such a success. I wish them all the best for the future and look forward to the progamme running again to support the Council’s Workforce Planning strategy.
James England, Chief Executive, BlueSky Experiences added: “BlueSky Experiences is thrilled to have collaborated with Highland Council, Communities & Place Service in the delivery of our transformative BlueSky Leadership Development Programme. Assured by City & Guilds & ILM, this programme provided nine participants with a unique opportunity to deeply reflect on their leadership styles, cultivate self-awareness, and ignite inspiration within their teams to propel the Council's vision and organisational objectives forward.
"Throughout the intensive programme, all participants demonstrated exceptional dedication and enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to witness their commitment to personal and professional growth. We commend the Highland Council leaders for their commitment to continuous improvement and their dedication to driving positive change within their organisation and community.”
