European Delegation Of Construction Craftspeople

A delegation from Germany, Denmark and Lithuania will visit Inverness in September to meet with Scottish companies who are interested in offering employment, sub-contracting, supply and partnering opportunities.

The Euro Info Centre (EIC) in Inverness is organising this initiative which aims to help fill the skills gaps in the construction sector in the Highlands. The EIC is looking to support local companies in fulfilling contracts and providing them with skilled staff resources.

The delegation will comprise of approximately 25 people with a wide range of construction sector skills including: General construction, Joinery, Plumbing, Electrical, Bricklaying, Tiling, Roofing, Architecture, Windows/Doors, Restoration Work, Waste Treatment, Interior finishing

A day of "Business to Business" meetings will be held in the Town House in Inverness on Wednesday 21st September and local companies will be able to request individual meetings with relevant members of the delegation. This event is completely free of charge and lunch will be provided.
