Issued on behalf of the Returning Officer for Highland, Derek Brown

Poll cards for people across the two Highland UK Parliamentary Constituencies have started to be issued.

As a result of the recent boundary changes, parts of The Highland Council local government area now fall into the new constituencies below:

Any voters who are in The Highland Council area but who are voting for the neighbouring constituencies cross boundary should click on the constituency information above to view the list of candidates who they can vote for. Their poll cards will be issued by Argyll and Bute Council and Moray Council.

The Highland Council has created a short video clip to explain these boundary changes.

The Returning Officer for the Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross and the Inverness, Skye and West Ross-shire Constituencies, Derek Brown is advising everyone to carefully check their cards when they arrive through the post to find out where they need to go to vote.

He said: “The poll cards have details on where you need to go to cast your vote.  The address of your local polling station will be clearly shown and it is a good idea to check this as the location may have changed from the last time you voted.”

Voters can also input their postcode into the following website to check which consistency they will be voting in and who the candidates are –
