The Family Centre Inverness receives excellent Care Inspectorate report
The Highland Council welcomes the positive Care Inspectorate Inspection report following a recent unannounced inspection visit to the Family Centre (ELC), Inverness.
Following the inspection, the Family Centre received the following:
- How good is our care, play and learning? - 5 Very Good
- How good is our setting? - 5 Very Good
- How good is our leadership? - 5 Very Good
- How good is our staff team? 6 – Excellent
Education Committee Chair, Cllr John Finlayson said: “The recent unannounced inspection at the Family Centre (ELC), Inverness from the Care Inspectorate received a very positive report, reflecting the professionalism, dedication and commitment of the caring staff at the Centre to create an inclusive, safe and nurturing ethos for all pupils attending.
“The report noted, the strong working partnerships with parents, the highly skilled staff/leadership and the well-equipped play spaces and environment that promote children's natural curiosity and imagination, learning and growth.
“The ELC is at the heart of the Family Centre and staff work collaboratively with other support services available within the Centre to ensure a holistic approach to help assist in supporting the needs of the children and their families. I’d like to commend all the staff at the Family Centre for this excellent and deserving report.”
