Resurfacing of Perth Road Inverness

The Highland Council is planning to carry out road resurfacing works on Perth Road, Inverness, commencing on Sunday 25 August 2024 and extending over 5 consecutive nights, from 7pm until 6am each night.

To try and minimise any disruption, the Council is implementing the works at times when traffic volumes are lighter. The works are planned to take place after the school holidays and towards the end of the main tourist season (late August). The work is to be phased as follows:

• Sunday 25 August 2024 – plane out existing road surface in the areas highlighted in red on the location plans below and adjust the levels of any ironwork (e.g. manhole covers, etc) if required. Please note that the work to remove the existing road surface will be carried out before 11:30pm, to minimise the impact of any noise disturbance on residents.

• Monday 26 August 2024 – lay new surfacing in the area highlighted in blue on the location plan below.
• Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 August 2024 – lay new surfacing in the area highlighted in green on the location plan below.
