Pennyland ELC positive Care Inspectorate Inspection report
The Highland Council welcomes the positive Care Inspectorate Inspection report following a recent unannounced inspection visit to Pennyland ELC, Thurso.
Following the inspection, Pennyland ELC received the following:
- How good is our care, play and learning? - 5 Very Good
- How good is our setting? - 5 Very Good
- How good is our leadership? - 5 Very Good
- How good is our staff team - 5 Very Good
Education Committee Chair, Cllr John Finlayson said: “The recent unannounced inspection at Pennyland ELC, Thurso from the Care Inspectorate received a very positive report, reflecting the professionalism, dedication and commitment of the caring staff at the setting to create an inclusive, safe and nurturing ethos for all pupils attending.
“The report noted, the child centred approach by all staff, with supportive and highly skilled leadership, and an environment that promotes children's natural curiosity in a stimulating and engaging way.
“I’d like to congratulate the staff at Pennyland ELC for their continued dedication and very good inspection report.”
