Save the date - Highland Registrars’ Wedding Fair

Happy couples looking for inspiration for their special day are being invited by Highland Registrars to The Highland Wedding Fair on Sunday 9 February 2025 at the Highland Archive and Registration Centre in Inverness.

Doors open to the public from 11am to 3pm and wedding market suppliers will be displaying what they have to offer people getting married in the Highlands.

Highland Council’s Chief Registrar, Lesley Gray says: “Back by popular demand, we are delighted to host our annual Wedding Fair and are very pleased to confirm a wide range of suppliers who are taking part in the event being held at the Highland Archive and Registration Centre. Following feedback from suppliers and attendees on the success of our first Wedding Fair last year we are delighted to host another event this year to help inspire happy couples with their wedding plans.”

She added: “All couples, regardless of whether they choose a Registrar to conduct their ceremony, do have to contact the Registration Office for the legal preliminaries to marriage, so we hope to attract plenty of interest.  The Wedding Fair is kick starting what looks like will be another busy year for weddings in the Highlands!”

Ground floor space within the bespoke Highland Archive and Registration Centre will be the location of the Wedding Fair within the two large ceremony suites, and main foyer.

The Highland Archive and Registration Centre is located on Bught Road, Inverness IV3 5SS.  Access for the public to the Wedding Fair on Sunday 9 February 2025 is free.
