Notification of Improvement Works – Hilton, Inverness

The Highland Council will be carrying out footway works at Hilton in Inverness to improve access and active travel links.   

Works will be carried out from the junction at Culduthel Road along Cauldeen Road and Dell Road to the junction at Old Edinburgh Road. The works will improve uncontrolled junction crossings with drop kerbs, tactile paving and repairs to surfaces.  

Torvean Civil Engineering Ltd is the appointed contractor and works are scheduled to take place between Monday 20 January 2025 and 28 March 2025. 

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be in place to allow traffic management for the safety of pedestrians and traffic.    

The location of works is shown in red on the drawing below.
