Relocation of Social Work Teams in Dingwall

Five social work teams based in Dingwall are moving to new premises in the town.  The office at Slioch, Castle Street, Dingwall will close on Friday 19 October and from Tuesday 23 October the following Social Work teams will relocate to 4 Fodderty Way, Dingwall:

• Ross-shire Children and Families Team
• Easter Ross Community Care Team
• Deaf and Hearing Support Services
• Care At Home Team
• Ross Youth Action Team

Director of Social Work Harriet Dempster said: “This move is a positive step in providing a wide breadth of social work services under one roof.  It will also mean greatly improving working conditions for staff as the Castle Street premises were no longer fit for purpose.”

On Friday 19 October and Monday 22 October, the offices will be closed to callers and will operate an “emergency only” service on mobile number: 07785 373506.

From Tuesday 23 October, the main telephone number for contact with the teams will be 01349 868700.
