Postponement of A82 Meeting

Following the previous announcement that Stewart Stevenson MSP for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change was due to meet with the A82 campaign group on Friday 2nd May in Fort William, the group have now been informed of the meeting postponement.

Cllr Bren Gormley said:  “Although disappointing to hear of the cancellation of the Stewart Stevenson MSP visit, it is hardly surprising due to the current Grangemouth dispute.  This is a postponement not a cancellation and we look forward to meeting with the Minister in the not too distant future. 

“I had the opportunity to briefly meet the minister 10 days ago, he was relaxed about his forthcoming meeting with the Campaign group which I found very reassuring.”

Stewart Stevenson MSP was also due to explore wider Transport & Climate Change issues affecting Lochaber on the same day.
