Christmas Gifts For Homeless Children In The City
The Highland Council’s Housing and Property Services’ Church Street and Homeless Day Centre Offices have joined forces with Tesco’s Community Champion to ensure around 50 children in Homeless Accommodation will receive a Christmas present this year.
For the most part these households are accommodated in temporary furnished accommodation located across the city, awaiting allocation of permanent social housing through The Highland Council and Partner’s Common Housing Register.
The gifts are being distributed this week to ensure that the children will have a parcel to unwrap on Christmas morning.
