Road Works In Tain

The Highland Council’s TEC Services are advising motorist in Tain  that they will be  carrying out major road maintenance in the town from the 3rd to 28th March 2008.

The area affected will be along the B9174 Morangie Road, Academy Street and Tower Street stretch north west of the Morangie Road junction with the U3899 Well Street to the Tower Street junction.
 
The road will be closed from 0700 hrs on Monday 3rd March until 1800 hrs on Friday 28th March 2008 daily between 0700 hours and 1800 hours Mondays to Saturdays.

Temporary traffic diversions will be in place and clearly sign-posted.  Although parking will not be permitted within the signed works area, access to affected properties for deliveries will be available by arrangement with the contractor.

The restrictions apply to traffic only.  Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
