Invergordon Road Closed To All Traffic

The Highland Council has closed Albany Road in Invergordon with immediate effect so emergency repairs can be carried out following vehicle impact. The closure will run until 1800hrs on Saturday 2nd August 2008 or until such time as the work to the railway bridge is complete.
 
The temporary closure applies to the length of road which is one way on Albany Road and will affect all vehicles although pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the work.
 
An alternative local route for drivers is available via the High Street, Castle Road, Castle Avenue, Gordon Terrace, King George Street and Cromlet Drive
