Essential works on B852 Foyers – Inverfarigaig Road

The Highland Council is advising motorists that essential maintenance works affecting the B852 Foyers – Inverfarigaig Road commences tomorrow (Wednesday 18th June, 2008) and is expected to last until Friday 20th June, 2008.

The works which include rock scaling, rock removal and tree felling are being carried out by The Highland Council’s TEC Services with specialist contractors Skye Rope Access Ltd.

Some delays are to be expected of up to 15 to 20 minutes. Work will not take place during peak time periods.

Motorists are advised that the B862 via Dores and Whitebridge may be used as an alternative route. Access for emergency vehicles will not be affected.
