Alness Bonfire

On Friday 4 November the Milnafua Residents Association in Alness held a bonfire and fireworks display for the second year running. The evening was a huge success with over 200 people attending, including a group of children from the west-end of the town who had come along to enjoy the fun.

The event was fully supported by the police and fire brigade who were happy to attend the evening and The Highland Council’s Housing Services and Community Learning team were also very proactive in organising the evening.

Victor Kerridge, Vice Chairperson of Milnafua Residents Association said: "The evening was a huge success due to the hard work of people from Milnafua. I feel that this type of event shows the true community spirit of this area."

The Residents Association would like to thank local business, Alex Ross Builders for all their help with bonfire.
