Temporary Overnight Closure on Ardersier Road

Part of the B9039 Newton to Castle Stuart to Ardersier road will be temporarily closed to traffic from 10.30pm on Monday 12 May to 7.00am on Tuesday 13 May.

The closure, which is to allow repairs to the rail bridge to be carried out safely, affects
vehicular traffic. Pedestrian access, access for cyclists and access for emergency vehicles will be controlled by the Contractor.

An alternative route for vehicles will be available using the B9039 Newton – Castle Stuart – Ardersier Road (Part), the A96 Perth – Aberdeen – Inverness Trunk Road and the C4 Kerrowgair – Croy Road, including the re-aligned section between the A96 Perth – Aberdeen – Inverness Trunk Road and Dalcross Airport.
