Pupils Recycle A Mound of Milk Cartons

Once again pupils at Kirkhill Primary are helping their community to recycle. For the second year running the P5 boys and girls are hosting their own “Recycling Week” and this year they have been busy collecting plastic milk cartons.

Supported by The Highland Council’s Waste Management Team, the children have been able to place recycling boxes in the school entrance to encourage their fellow pupils to bring in their plastic milk cartons from home.  They have encouraged the whole community to get involved and within a short space of time they have managed to collect a mound of plastic cartons.

On Friday TEC Services will be coming to the school to collect the plastic cartons which will be taken to the nearest plastic recycling point at the Dingwall Recycling Centre.
