Flying The Flag At Balloch Primary

Pupils at Balloch School are now able to show off their Eco School Green Flag which they achieved in June.

Thanks to help from the Scottish School of Forestry the school now has a flag pole made and erected in the school grounds.  Forestry students helped to make the pole from local wood and provided the labour to put it up.

Head teacher Christine Scott said:  “The pupils are proud to have attained this award through their on going work in the school gardens and grounds, their energy saving initiatives and most recently their enterprise selling reusable shopping bags to their friends and families and in the local shop.”
