Plans Go On Display For New Aviemore Community School

Members of the public are invited to view the proposals for the new Aviemore Community School at Aviemore Library, units 1 and 2, Market Hall, Aviemore on Monday 1 December 2008.

The Highland Council’s Education, Culture and Sport Officers will be in attendance to answer any questions from 14.00-1700 hours and again from 18.00-20.00 hours.

The proposals include community facilities, nursery wrap-around care facilities, a new community library, a service point and 21st century school accommodation.

The site of the new school will be adjacent to the Health Centre at Grampian Road. 

This public exhibition follows consultation with key stakeholders including the school’s Parent Council, the Head Teacher, local Members and representatives from the Community Centre Management Group.
