In advance of the concert, there is an opportunity for the public to join in a torchlight procession from Inverness Castle to the Northern Meeting Park in aid of the Inverness Homeless Trust. Those taking part are invited to gather at Inverness Castle from 5.30 pm. The parade will head towards Ness Bank Church turning right on to the Riverside before proceeding to Northern Meeting Park Arena.

Upon arrival at Northern Meeting Park, the concert goers will discover the Falcon Drummers and the Moray Firth Radio Firewalk and a special surprise which will illuminate the night sky.

Concert goers are asked to note that food and refreshments will be available within the concert arena and that it is prohibited to bring alcohol into the concert venue. Drivers are asked to use the City Centre Car Parks on the night as parking around the concert arena will be restricted to residents and disabled blue badge holders only.

Provost Jimmy Gray, Chairman of The Highland Council’s Inverness City Committee, said: "I am really looking forward to the first St Andrew’s Day concert staged in Inverness and I hope that families in our city will support the exciting programme that has been created for their enjoyment."

Another highlight will be the special projections produced by Evanton-based Arts in Motion on Inverness Castle and Inverness Cathedral, which will host a special Evensong Service commencing at 5.30pm.
