Aquadome Update

Having now had a chance to assess the various aspects of damaged caused by the fire on Saturday with the Company’s Project Manager, James Martin said, “We want to try and keep our customers as up-to-date as possible and having now spoken with our Project Manager review the possibility of re-opening I am now in a position to firm up some details our users may find useful. 

“I can confirm that due to the complex and specialist nature of the damage caused, along with the fact that any works will undoubtedly involve the coordination of a number of specialists.  In relation to getting our leisure pool back in operation, it now looks unlikely that we actually know the extent of the remedial works required for about a fortnight.

He concluded, “We are still pushing extremely hard to open the 25 metre competition pool as soon as possible, to accommodate our swimming lessons, groups and school bookings.  But we remain of the view that this is still very unlikely to be before the beginning of October.”
